has identified the three-year period 2023-2025 as the timeframe available to
the Australian Government to urgently address high priority Defence Capability Development and achieve a state of “Enhanced Force-In-Being”.
This will be followed by the five-year period 2026-2030 during which Defence
will embark on an accelerated acquisition sprint to arrive to The 'Objective
Integrated Force' state.
To achieve these national goals, Australia must build a diversified, secure,
and reliable Defence and Security supply chain. This supply chain must
provide the nation with resilient access to leading edge technology,
operational know-how and turn-key services that deliver Minimum
Viable Capability in the shortest possible time.
